Job Title: Localization Project Manager
Location: San Francisco, CA
Description: Candidate is responsible for managing the execution of
small, medium and large translation/localization projects, coordinating and
monitoring all aspects of assigned projects, i.e., tracking schedules and
ensuring timely delivery of project components. The Localization Project
Manager will be the single point of contact for Globalyst clients. He/She
will also be responsible for negotiating with in-house staff on project schedule,
tracking profitability, monitoring project issues and contributing to improved
procedures. Candidate must ensure and maintain client satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications:
BA/BS, Business Administration preferred.
2+ years experience in project management.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and produce high quality work
in a deadline-driven environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Foreign language skills a plus.
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
Job Title: Desktop Publishing Specialist - Asian languages
Location: San Francisco,CA
Description: The Desktop publishing specialist will be reponsible
for layout and format of translated Asian language documents utilizing
graphics applications to execute assigned project actions while ensuring
the timely delivery and quality service with the view of ensuring client
satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of MS Word, Abode Illustrator, FrameMaker, Quark.
Experience in layout, format, and output for Asian language documents.
Familiarity with standard Asian language input methods.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to work under high pressure and tight turnaround times.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
Asian language skills a must.
