Jeffrey R. Bromley - President
After being immersed in the globalization industry for a decade, Jeff Bromley
founded Globalyst in 2002. He has spent his career working on both the vendor
and publisher sides of the industry. Jeff's globalization vendor experience began
at AT&T Language Line in Monterey, California where he managed dozens of
localization projects for the IT and healthcare industries. While at Language Line,
he spearheaded the company's successful multi-tiered marketing launch into Canada.
After AT&T, Jeff moved to SimulTrans as Senior Project Manager for its high-profile
clientele in the software industry.
Before launching Globalyst, Jeff directed the Product Globalization Group at 3Com
Corporation where oversaw the localization of the entire 3Com product line. He held
similar positions at Saba Software and Netscape Communications.
Jeff holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brigham Young University and an MBA
from Thunderbird School of Global Management.
Detlev Kesten - Vice President, Marketing
Detlev Kesten was born and raised in Germany and moved to the United States in
1981. His career in the localization industry started in 1990, when he signed
on with AT&T Business Translations in Monterey, California. There he worked
as Operations Manager and later as National Sales Manager, serving Fortune 1000
companies and their specific localization needs.
Detlev has held senior sales positions in both the energy and telecom market,
working for companies like Duke Energy and Telstra in the San Francisco Bay Area.
He is involved with business networking groups throughout the Bay Area, and has
contributed his time and efforts to a number of non-profit groups throughout
his career.
Detlev has a BA degree in History from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan
and frequently gives lectures to MBA students at California colleges.
